I might be biased because it seems to really “work” with my skin-tone, but I’ve always been a huge fan of red accents on clothing. Especially when you pair it with black, you can show a sleek silhouette with a little bit of daring color. For this week’s Fabulous Case of the Mondays, I went with another peplum dress with some fabulous shoes that inspire the rest of the outfit.

There’s lots of low-key bling in this outfit. The pieces shown are a mix of stones and enameled parts, but none of them went over $100. To keep in line with that extra shine and sparkle, the nail polish this week is going out on a ledge. I’ve chosen a shimmery red paint from Orly. If you’re feeling especially bold or flirty, OPI also has a part of their Muppet’s Collection that would go great with this. Gettin’ Miss Piggy With It
Those shoes! I adore the red suede platform pumps here, but after taking a second look at it I realized that most of you don’t torture your poor feet and ankles in those sort of shoes while you’re working. I wanted to give you an alternative from Andres Machado. As an alternative to those super-high shoes, you can also get a low-heel pair of Red Suede Peep Toe Pumps
