Contrast Chiffon Blouse via Oasap.com
I broke out of my comfort zone and used the credit that Oasap gave me this month to buy a blouse instead of a dress. For anyone who hasn’t been following along, I don’t do pants. I just can’t stand it outside of my PJs. In their place I have a massive collection of retro dresses and flowing skirts. This blouse was bought in preparation of purchasing a couple of jean skirts for the Summer, but I just couldn’t wait.
I showed you guys a shameless bathroom selfie on Instagram and I was proud. I should have taken a nice pretty blog-worthy picture, but I’m hoping that this will show you just how I felt about this shirt. I was willing to embarrass myself in the boys’ little bathroom to show it off as quickly as possible!
I adored the illusion that this shirt gave to my mom-pooch area. With the poof on the top section, it slims the bottom half significantly. It gave a great silhouette to what’s otherwise a fairly unimpressive section. I decided to add the Vintage Rose Pendant that I showed you guys earlier in the month and it left a nice shape along the top of the poofy section where it laid against it.
This is a somewhat delicate top, so I’ve hung it far away from Mr. Determined’s heavier clothing between wears. It stood up to the delicate cycle of my washing machine just fine, so I’ve just been putting it in with the lingerie each week.
Next on my wishlist from Oasap are these brilliant American Print Platform Heels to get ready for the 4th of July.
